To whom it may concern, I am pleased to submit this letter of reference in support of your employee, Ryan Dickinson. Ryan was originally scheduled to service my mother-in-law's fireplace on Thursday, December 13. He coordinated planned arrival with my wife, and also communicated promptly with her when he found he would not be able to complete a prior job in time, and must necessarily reschedule. It was rescheduled to Saturday, December 16, notably the day after the power outage. Ryan showed up on time, was very neat, polite, and informative. He did an exceptional job of service and repair, and fully explained operation and future maintenance. We could not have been more pleased with the quality and content of Ryan's service. In an era when quality of customer service is seemingly all-too-often forgotten (and correspondingly not expected), I feel all the more compelled to reply when I witness such exceptional service. Thank you.

Dear manager, This letter is to commend the customer service we have received since purchasing a stove from you last fall. The first stove you installed was faulty, requiring several visits from Ryan Dickinson to troubleshoot the problem. We are extremely impressed with his knowledge, and customer relations skills. Our experiences with coordinating service calls have been pleasant and non-stressful thanks to Jason's efforts in your service department. In this era of fast fixes it is comforting to know that there are still businesses where the customer is actually important. You stand behind your products and provide great customer service. Again, we would like to thank Ryan and Jason for making our purchase of the stove a pleasant experience. We hope that you appreciate them as much as we do.

I want to recommend you on having exceptional employees, starting with the people at your front desk and ending with your installers. Before coming to your shop, I had looked at other fireplace stores in Olympia and Lacey. I did not find one that had employees who measure up to your employees' willingness to work with the customer to find just the right product to meet their needs. Once the right insert was found, thanks to Greg, not only waited on me when I was in the store; but, also sent me additional brochures based on what we discussed. Eric Christopher measured the fireplace and told me which size unit would give the desired look. I watched as Glenn King installed the insert. Glenn was exceedingly accommodating to ensure an excellent final outcome. He went the extra mile to Install the insert In an aesthetically pleasing manner. It is obvious that he takes great pride in his work, a trait that seems harder and harder to find. It's not just that I am picky (which I am); but, the insert was for a house built in the 1930's by Ezra Meeker. It is very important to the owner that the original ambiance of the house be retained whenever possible. Because a previous insert had covered up the beautiful original tile details, it was important to have this installation be exactly right. Now, I can honestly say, we have an insert that is both functional and preserves the original beauty of the fireplace and surroundings. Thank you for helping us accomplish all of our goals.

Thank you all for a job extremely well done on installing our new Quadrafire Cumberland wood stove last year, there have been no rain leaks or any other problems. The unusual installation would have taken me at least three days with countless trips into town for different parts. The stove's ease of operation is more than we expected, as well as the heating capabilities. We had an earth stove for years in our last house and I have to say the Cumberland is not only better to look at, but easier to clean out as well.

In the past year, my partner and I have bought the Heat-n~Glo Tiara I and the 550 Fireplace Insert from Olympia Fireplace and Spa as part of our home remodeling projects. Over the past several months, we've made trips to Olympia Fireplace and Spa to obtain technical assistance and exchange incorrect or missing parts. Cliff became our "go-to" guy. He was always welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we always counted on him, to follow through. In addition, he was always respectful and showed genuine interest in our projects and our satisfaction with our Heat-n-Glo products. Cliff's keen ability to connect with customers and provide outstanding customer service makes him such an asset to Olympia Fireplace and Spa. I won't only be recommending Olympia Fireplace to friends; I'll urge them to talk to Cliff for great assistance and support in making their fireplace decisions. Please make sure Cliff knows the positive impact he has on his customers, and how much his helpful attitude is appreciated.

Yesterday Derrick came to to clean and fix our gas stove that we purchased in 1999. I just wanted to let you know that he was an excellent representative from your company. He was great. He did the job, was very concerned about getting our place dirty, etc. I was in customer support at Boeing for 35 years so I know and appreciate good service. This is in regard to a service call on Monday, November 15, 2004. The technician, Ryan Dickinson did a fabulous job! He was very polite. He even put on booties before walking onto my living room carpets! He explained everything that was wrong, and what he was going to do to fix it! He was not condescending, but very appropriate. I got the feeling he was very interested in making sure our fireplace worked well, and would provide me with warmth and atmosphere. I felt the charges were fair. This is the first service call I have had since purchasing the unit about 6 years ago! It is really nice to know that a local company does provide such good service! I would like to commend Ryan Dickinson for a job very well done!!!

We used your service department for many years now, to do your annual stove cleaning special. Since my stove is so trouble free, combined with the great annual cleaning/inspection, I have had no other problems that would involve your service personnel. You have an excellent service crew!! Everyone that has serviced my stove has been professional, caring, done a good job and have great personalities. Today I once again had the extreme pleasure of having Ryan Dickinson service my stove. Ryan has been here several times and I look forward to having him in my home. He has all the desired traits I have included above and we have truly become good friends over the years. He does an excellent job on my stove and it is such a pleasure to have him in my home. My Dog, Joy, even enjoys his company. Even though Ryan wasn't here last year, he met us at the door, said "Hi" to Joy (remembering her name) and we shook hands. Ryan is a very special young man in my book and I have met many young men in my 67 years so I know of what I speak. In today's hectic, impersonal world most people fail to appreciate the good things in their lives and are too quick to complain, while never giving credit where credit is due. Good customer service is the key to any successful business. Customer service (good) will keep a customer coming back and telling their friends about it, while customer service (bad) will drive the customer away and the bad news to friends is even more swift. We older Folks remember when good customer service was the norm, and really appreciate it when we receive such treatment today. Unfortunately, good customer service is far from the norm today. You are to be congratulated on your great service team. Good health and happiness to you all. I'm already looking forward to Ryan's annual visit next year!!

We recently acquired a gas fireplace with the purchase of a house and it was not working. What with the time of year and the recent bad weather we had no way of getting this stove working before our Superbowl party. When we finally got smart enough to visit your store, we were pleasantly surprised by your staff's knowledge. Several of the guys put their heads together and came up with the right fix which got our stove working that day. The house is now warner and the party was a success; imagine people asking, "What's wrong with your fireplace?" 50 times before kickoff...you guys saved us. Thank you very sincerely, we will send everyone we know to your shop.

My wife Cathy and I would like to thank yon, Sean Baines and your entire staff for a fantastic buying experience at Olympia Fireplace & Spa. As you are aware, we purchased both a marble gas fireplace and a Lynx outdoor barbecue. This was a major purchase for us at over $5,OOO.OO and we did our homework on prices and quality. I don't need to tell you, you were our choice. But most of all it was your people that made the difference for us. Sean and all your sales people were very knowledgeable and patient with my wife taking the time she wanted to make the decisions and get the information she needed. Also, your installation team were top quality people, on time and right the first time. Thanks again for the service and we'll be back.
